_why just posted about a new feature he just added to Shoes. Now you can build executable installers for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, and you can do it happily from your favorite OS. This is awesomeness, and now I really have to write something using Shoes, since he's totally fixed the distribution problem. This is exciting news. I had to tell the world!

I am very amused by Gabe's latest post. I'm sure anyone with children can totally relate. (Seriously, though... who thought Lego Fruit Snacks was a good idea?)

I just installed E17 from the packages that the Elbuntu project have so kindly made available. So far, it pwns Gnome for me. It's faster, but still has nice animations and everything. We'll see how it holds up over time. (And I can finally have a toggle vertical maximize! ;)

It's what we used to use to test a sound system. It's a sentence that has every syllable in the English language in it. I figured that it's a good start to see how posterous works for me. Perhaps this email posting thing will get me to forsake LiveJournal. We'll see.
